This is your page to study God's Word while we are not together at school. I will not be testing your memory work, but I am challenging you to stay in the Word! If you want to be challenged, I challenge you to learn the Bible verse listed for each week, as well as the Catechism portion. For some of you, these verses and selections will simply be review, as you have learned them before!

This week's challenge is to make a WRITTEN Prayer List. Write a large list of things you are THANKFUL for, of PEOPLE to pray for, and of PETITIONS (things you are asking for). You don't have to write down sins to ask forgiveness for, but make sure you take time to do that as well. Also, don't forget to praise God in your prayers! (You do NOT have to share your prayer list with me, but if you want to share it, you may. Then I can prayer for the things you would want me to pray for as well!)
THANKFUL FOR: Your LIST of things to be thankful for could include special people to you.... also for shelter and food... things you have... things you've gotten to do. Be specific and try to think of everything! Your family. Your siblings. Your home. Your room. Your "toys" - including tv, video games, cell phone, board games, etc. Your friends. Your teachers and leaders. Your President and Congressmen (Your government and leaders). The weather. Your outside things. Parks. Trails. Bikes. Animals. Trees. Flowers. PETITIONS (ASKING FOR:) Your list of things you are asking for: Health of family and friends. People you know and don't know who are sick. Your future spouse (the person you will marry and praying for their health and safety and happiness.) To protect you, your family, and your possessions - home, car, etc. New things you'd like to have. For courage. Pray to be a help to others. Pray to be able to spread God's Word through your words and actions. Pray for our country and the current situation we're in. Pray for Godly leaders that really want what is best for our country. Pray for people with troubles or confusion in their lives, that God may guide them and that they may know He is their Savior. And on and on! FORGIVENESS (SORRY FOR) PRAISE (ACKNOWLEDGING GOD AND HIS AMAZING LOVE FOR US!) |
