E-learning for Easter Monday for 6th-8th Graders
Here are the assignments for Mr. Whirrett for e-Learning Monday, April 22.
6th Grade: The students were asked to bring their text books home along with a worksheet. They should read pages 546-550 and complete the sheet.
7th Grade: The students were asked to bring their text books home and to do the chapter review for chapter 18. The test will be on Tuesday when we return.
8th Grade: The 8th graders have two assignments. (And basketball players have a third one... see below. Make sure to read the underlined part.)
1) Take the D.C. packet home. Parents should go through it and fill out the FOUR sides of the last TWO pages. These are due on TUESDAY, APRIL 23. (Those who don't return them in the morning will be counted late. This is FOR A GRADE and also those who do not return will owe a recess.)
2) They were asked to bring their history books home. They are to read pages 395-403. On ONE sheet of paper they should put name, number, date, and page, and answer the following questions by numbering each question and writing out neat, thoughtful answers. Page 397, numbers 1 to 5. Page 402, numbers 1-5. If you do it WELL, this will take up more than a page. Only NEAT writing will be accepted, so take your time. As you work, remember President Martin van Buren's quote on the wall: "It is easier to do a job right than to explain why you didn't."
3) Basketball players are to return their uniforms on TUESDAY, washed in cold, hung to dry, and folded neatly. All parts - maroon, white, and black... shorts and tops. If you hand them in and they smell dirty, look overly dirty, and are not neat - then you will owe the recess still and I will take them home to clean since you could not!
